A Price Update, Effective October 1
We want to give you advance notice of a pricing change coming to Tracestrack.
Starting October 1, 2026, prices across our paid plans will increase by 10%. If you have an active subscription, your new rate takes effect at your next renewal on or after that date — check your account for the exact number on your plan.
We've held pricing steady for four years. In that time, costs from our infrastructure providers — including Hetzner — have risen substantially, and we've absorbed those increases ourselves rather than passing them on. That's no longer sustainable if we want to keep improving Tracestrack and maintaining the reliability you depend on.
This is the first price change since we launched, and we don't take it lightly. It lets us keep investing in the service without cutting corners on infrastructure or support.
What we've been building
While keeping prices flat, we've also kept shipping. A few highlights:
- —New Elevation API and Overpass API, now available alongside our existing raster and vector map services.
- —Moved our CDN to Cloudflare, improving global latency for all requests.
- —Continued maintaining our existing map styles and infrastructure, while actively developing new vector Carto and Topo map styles.
You can find full details on all of this right here on our website.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact us— we read and respond to these ourselves.
Thanks for being a Tracestrack customer.
